Happy lunar new year! In China, people say 恭喜发财 or "We wish you a prosperous new year!" We are entering the year of the yin wood snake. This means celebrating transformation, letting go of old patterns or behaviors, and taking the time to recalibrate and listen to our inner wisdom. The snake is known for its cunning, tenacity, and an appreciation for the good things in life. So find a sunny spot, shed those unwanted layers, and enjoy the company of loved ones!

A new year's feast is important, because it sets the stage for how the rest of the year will go. Eating the finer foods with quality ingredients, even richer flavors, will mean that the year will bring prosperity into your life. Indulge a little bit now, knowing that there's work ahead for transformation!

Since it's been unusually sunny and dry lately, get outside and take some deep breaths. Take 5 minutes to practice box breathing, or simply to breathe and feel the cold air invigorate your body. Feel the sunshine on your face and imagine storing those bits of Vitamin D for the cloudy days ahead.

This year will have its share of hurdles and challenges, but know that you have the tools and we can help!
